ZOOM TECHNOLOGY

Zoom has its own fibre optic cables installed into its premises in Bognor Regis. These cables are made up of glass and plastic, which allows data to move much faster than along the copper wires used by ADSL broadband.

From the Zoom premises our signals are sent to masts erected on suitable sites in our coverage area, and from there directly to all of our customers.

Download speeds experienced by our customers are generally within the 30 Mbps (Megabits per second) – 60 Mbps range, with upload speeds up to 20 ‐ 30 Mbps. As with all broadband, the speeds achieved will always depend upon the type of connection the customer has chosen and the age of their computer, as well as the customer's software.

Zoom uses the best technology available, which means we use Ubiquiti antennas, and other equipment.
